Dan jumps through the famous long white clouds
Dan trys his luck skydiving in Auckland NZ, his review below, lov'n the helmet Dan ;-)
"It was a mild but sunny Sunday afternoon in Auckland, and I thought there was no better way to spend it than jumping out of a plane. Having done a 10,000 ft skydive in Tasmania before I played it pretty cool in the lead up to the jump, in fact I was fine until I was 12,000 feet in the air...with my feet and body dangling out of the plane I only had a brief moment to appreciate how much the extra 2000 feet really did make a difference…because before I knew it I was flipping end over end and freefalling...
After the chute was pulled I was expecting a slow and tranquil decent, but my instructor had other ideas. Within a minute he had me taking control and pulling the cords hard down on either side which in turn put us into a fast yet controlled spiral downwards.
Overall my Skydiving - Auckland experience was one I will never forget and was easily better than my previous jump. A special thanks must go to Aaron and the other instructors for their hospitality…they make jumping out of planes easy!
Until my next experience…."
